Candee Fick is another author that I was introduced to just this year. As soon as I read her book, I signed up to be on her mailing list and asked her to share her testimony on Songs of Salvation, which she did – thank you, Candee!

Her next book, A Picture Perfect Christmas is now available for pre-order and I am happy to share the cover and an excerpt with you. The release date is November 12, 2018. I will be posting my review here on November 15, 2018.

And now with no further ado. . .

From disowned to daughter to “I do?"

Freelance photographers Liz Foster and Ryan Callahan are finally making plans for their future. And what better time to get married than during the festive holiday season that brought them together? If only Liz’s parents weren’t standing in the way of a picture-perfect wedding.

Spurred on by the ghosts of Christmases past, Dan Foster has already written Liz out of his will, so even attending the wedding—let alone walking his daughter down the aisle—is out of the question. However, this is the season for miracles and Ryan will do anything to make his bride smile.

What will it take to bring this family back together in time for the wedding?

If you like Christmas weddings, family reunions, and happily-ever-afters, then you’ll love this next chapter in The Wardrobe series by Candee Fick. Pick up Picture Perfect Christmas and start celebrating the season today.

(NOTE: This book is a follow-up to Focus On Love and is best understood if read in that order.)

Liz Foster collapsed against the couch cushions and buried her hot face in a decorative pillow. “I can’t believe you just said that.” At her former roommate’s laugh, she peeked over the fringed edge long enough to catch the other woman’s smirk, then hurled her shield at her friend seated at the other end of the couch.

Dani Sheridan dodged the flying fabric. “You’re about to be a married woman, so someone needs to tell you the truth.”

“But saying all the kisses make up for dirty underwear on the floor…?”

“And aiming misfires around the toilet.” Dani retrieved the pillow from the carpeted floor and hugged it to her chest. “Yes. It’s true. Along with other nasty aromas like body odor, gas, and morning dragon breath. Marriage can be messy.” Dani wrinkled her nose, then sighed with a dreamy smile. “But the benefits of doing life beside the man of your dreams make the journey worth every inconvenience.”

“With your vast experience of five months—”

“Going on six—”

“Yes, how could I forget?” Liz rolled her eyes. “I was right beside you when you said your vows.”

“Just like I’ll be there for you in four and a half weeks.”

“Which is the real reason I invited you over this morning.” Liz eyed the clock easily visible on the wall above the small dining room table thanks to the open floor plan. Despite living in the same apartment complex, their schedules rarely allowed the time to get together. “I know we’ve both got family Thanksgiving dinners in a few hours, but I’ve got this awful feeling I’m forgetting something.”

Planning a wedding without her mother’s help had been a challenge both logistically. And emotionally.
