I have to confess that when people ask me my “favorites”, I almost always cringe. Even something as simple as a favorite color is hard to pick. I mean, really. Are you talking about a favorite color to use to decorate my living room or my bedroom? To wear out on a special occasion or just to wear to church? Do you see my dilemma?
In looking back over the list of books I read and reviewed in 2018, these are books that still stand out as being exceptional. If you want to see others that were highly rated, you can use the menu above to filter by Rating or even customize the filter using the “Filterable Review Archives” option.
Best Authors
Before I get into the list of the best by genre, I want to highlight a few authors. These are authors that I have reviewed more than one of their books this year and have given each of their books 5 stars, something that doesn’t happen often.
