Quinn is the heroine in Just Maybe, which was released earlier this month. Author Crystal Walton was kind enough to provide this interview with Quinn so we can get to know her a little better.
Name: Quinn Thompson
Age: 30
Five words that describe Quinn’s personality: Determined, Witty, Compassionate, Sarcastic,
Broken
Resembles: Tamara Rey
Current occupation: Editor at First News Magazine in Cape Hatteras, NC.
Greatest struggle: Letting go of the disappointment from seemingly unanswered prayers and finding
faith to hope for the dreams still in her heart.
Goal in life: Make something of her career before her father’s dementia steals the chance for her to prove her worth by trying to make up for the failure she carries.
Most embarrassing moment: Aside from her mom reaching to make sure her bra is padded enough? 😉 Oh, if she could only count the moments. 😉 Essentially, any time she’s around her southern family who turns her life into a walking Jane Austin novel.
Quirks: Tics when someone uses incorrect grammar.
Secret talent (or unusual talent): Pulling off a solo dance party in the middle of the kitchen while stress baking dozens of cupcakes. 😉
Secret wish: To have a home, family, and legacy like her parents have.
The thing that attracts her most to Cooper is: Watching him fall for his son coupled with the way he so easily makes her feel safe, valued, and known more than anyone else.
Quinn’s idea of a good time is… Curling up with a good novel, a cat in her lap, and an endless
supply of lattes at her disposal.
It’s karaoke night. Quinn would… Crawl under a table and die from humiliation when Cooper manages to get her on stage anyway.
If Quinn could talk to Crystal, she would say… “Okay, girl, I know my mom means well and
everything, but did you really have to let her break out that dry-rotted bikini in front of Cooper?? And
really, those dimples of his. You didn’t honestly expect me to resist those babies for long, did you?” 😉
