I would like to thank Liwen Ho for giving me a copy of this book. This gift did not influence my opinion or review.
Liwen Ho has written another sweet, though-provoking romance. Love’s Choice is a short book, but it is not any less hard-hitting due to its length.
The story deals with the repercussions of domestic violence, but there are no violent acts described in it at all. The story, instead, is about dealing with the feelings of guilt due to bad choices made, and about forgiveness.
The story was a little on the short side which made it seem like the events all happened quickly, though the timeline of the book indicates that it wasn’t as hurried as it seems.
This story is not necessarily appropriate for a younger audience – View Spoiler »there is a bit of a description of the labor and delivery process. It is not super detailed, but if you are squeamish, you might want to be aware this is in there. « Hide Spoiler
