Products I recommend that aren’t books

There are some products that I find myself recommending over and over. While they aren’t books, I decided to put them here.

Air Purifier

I have a number of allergies and tend sneeze year round. A year and a half ago, they found mold at our office and I got pretty sick while they were remediating it and had to work remotely for several months. Before returned to the office, I decided to see what I could get to help me and I found this purifier. It is designed to wear around the neck. Since I’ve gotten it, I hardly sneeze at all. I now wear pretty much anytime I’m not sleeping.

Oh, and though it is bigish and not necessarily the kind of ornamentation I would pick, if given the choice, I have had people think it was a pendant I was wearing until they looked more closely. I’ve some some stories ready for when people ask what it is – a recording device – a spy cam – you get the idea. But really, not many people ask and most who do are very interested in getting one for themselves.

I am especially looking forward to using this on my upcoming trip on the plane. Being in more control of the air I breathe in an enclosed space is something I value. 🙂

Vitamin Containers

My husband and I prefer to treat illnesses with natural remedies as much as possible. One side effect of that is that the little pill cases designed to hold the pills for a single meal, or four slots for each time you take stuff each day tend to be too small and insufficient. I was pretty excited when I found these pill cases. While they assume you only take stuff twice a day and I take pills four times, I simply purchased two sets and I have what I need for a week.

Another plus is that I can just grab the lunch/dinner container to bring with me when I leave the house. It is small enough to fit well in my purse and has everything I need to take until bedtime.

In March, I will be going on a trip and will be gone for two weeks so I got another two sets so I can have everything I need to take all ready to go.

Here is what my weekly set looks like. The label on the top of the one case shows me that set has my morning and before bedtime doses. The open case shows the kind of quantity it holds.
