Christian authors Marion Ueckermann, Elizabeth Maddrey, Alexa Verde, Clare Revell, Heather Gray, Narelle Atkins, and Autumn Macarthur got together to create a series of books about the Rossi family in Italy. The individual books released last year, and I reviewed one of them here.

Now, all nine books have been combined into a set on Kindle with a bonus tenth novella telling the rest of Isabella Rossi’s story. Being as I have not read (or purchased) all the books in the series, I am going to grab a set for myself now. Currently, it is only $.99, which is such a great deal!

The birthday gift of a painting, arriving unsigned and with no sender's details, rips open old heartbreak. One family secret has already been revealed, her youngest son Albertino's illegitimate English daughter. Now it seems there could be yet more secrets.

Returning home, the cousins, scattered across three continents, each discover their lifetime love. When they gather again at the villa as summer ends, the remaining secrets are revealed. But can they be forgiven, or will the mistakes of the past be repeated?

Goodreads Amazon Barnes and Noble Book Depository

Innamorata by Autumn MacArthur was a lovely novella! Those who have read any of the books of the series will have already fallen in love with Isabella. When Gianni appears on his motorcycle, she is reminded of the past when he recklessly set out to conquer the world.

I enjoy seeing romance between older characters. The fact that Isabella and Gianni had loved each other as teenagers allowed this story to move quickly naturally. Gianni’ had carried his guilt of events in his past for decades and it was so sweet that Isabella was able to help point him to God’s grace.

About Alexa Verde

Alexa Verde writes sweet, wholesome books about faith, love, and murder. She has had 200 short stories, articles, and poems published in the five languages that she speaks. She has bachelor’s degrees in English and Spanish, a master’s in Russian, and enjoys writing about characters with diverse cultures. She’s worn the hats of reporter, teacher, translator, model (even one day counts!), caretaker, and secretary, but thinks that the writer’s hat suits her the best. After traveling the world and living in both hemispheres, she calls a small town in south Texas home. The latter is an inspiration for the fictional setting of her series Rios Azules Christmas and Secrets of Rios Azules.

About Autumn Macarthur

Autumn Macarthur is a USA Today bestselling author of clean Christian  inspirational romances with a strong touch of faith. If you love happy-ever-afters, sweet romance, and Hallmark movies, chances are you’ll enjoy her stories!

Originally from Sydney, Australia, she now lives in a small town not far from London, England, with her very English husband (aka The Cat Magnet), and way too many rescue cats for their tiny house! A recent addition to the family are two guinea pigs. For such small creatures, they have amazingly huge personalities.

When she’s not feeding cats, she hand sews, reads, and most of all writes heartwarming stories of love and faith.  With every story, God teaches her the exact same lessons her hero and heroine need to learn to commit to their forever love.

She’s also blessed with a chronic health issue that has changed her life in the way it limits her. It hasn’t been easy, but she’s come to give thanks for the gift hidden in the illness — the way it’s taught her patience, brought her into a greater dependence on God, and given her a far deeper appreciation of His love and provision.

She’d love to hear from you!

Faith, hope, & heartwarming – inspirational romance to make you smile.

About Elizabeth Maddrey

ElizabethMaddrey Author

From the author: Elizabeth Maddrey is a semi-reformed computer geek and homeschooling mother of two who lives in the suburbs of Washington D.C. When she isn’t writing, Elizabeth is a voracious consumer of books. She loves to write about Christians who struggle through their lives, dealing with sin and receiving God’s grace on their way to their own romantic happily ever after.

My notes: To date, I have read 10 books by Elizabeth and have given them an average of 4 stars. I appreciate the way she manages to deal with sometimes difficult issues without dragging down the tone of her books. I do not hesitate to read any of her books as she consistently puts out books that are well worth the time it takes to read them.

Elizabeth has written books in several of her own series, has several stand-alone books and has written several books that are part of the multi-author Arcadia Valley Romance series. You can see her books on her Amazon Page
