Return to Silver Bay is the first Lara Van Hulzen story I’ve read.
Maggie’s world turned upside down when she discovered letters written to her now-deceased mother. Letters hinting at a secret, which leads her to talk to the town eccentric. I loved how Maggie’s perception changed as she was willing to take a chance on trusting Gwen and how their lives changed so dramatically.
And I admired Josh’s patient love for Maggie. And how he had never been intimidated by her dad – his sole concern being Maggie’s well-being. He was so kind and respectful towards her.
This first Silver Bay story shows the promise of more tender romances to come. I’m looking forward to learning more about this sweet community of friends in upcoming books!
