Based on the title of the book, I thought it was fiction. I even read the description and continued with that misconception!
I am looking forward to reading this memoir. It promises to be quite fascinating. Read on and see what I mean…

David Winters, the author, shared some fun facts about himself that I am passing on to you.
What is an interesting fact about you?
I love birds and always have one or more. The current one is unimaginatively named “Birdie.” A love bird, she likes to shred paper and sit on my shoulder critiquing my work. When she goes to the bathroom, I re-write the scene.
Why write about the things you do?
I’m all about stories. Even my non-fiction includes many stories. With all that time in management, I’ve got a bunch of them. My current book with David Bredeman tells the fascinating story of an every-man/carpenter who suddenly ends up on the mission field. When not swashbuckling through the jungle, he fell in love with a Peruvian beauty. So many factors conspired against them, but he was a persistent suitor. I laughed a lot while writing the book with him and I think most readers will do the same.
Who is the favorite character you have written?
Antonio is the hero of Driver Confessional, my Uber murder mystery. He continues in an upcoming book called Stock Car Inferno that will be out later this year with Brinstone Fiction.
