Do you enjoy reading Young Adult stories?

Author Liwen Ho is branching out into Young Adult stories and is looking for a few readers who would be willing to receive an advance copy of her soon-to-be-released How to Kiss a Guy in Ten Days and then write a review on Amazon, Goodreads, and BookBub.

This story is a spin-off from her Spark Brothers series. I’ve just started reading and am enjoying it already.

In her call for readers, she gives these 3 reasons she decided to write a Young Adult series:

  1. I love the enthusiasm and innocence of youth. There’s something special about seeing the world through a young person’s eyes as they discover things that we “oldies” may have gotten immune to.

  2. The teen years (as portrayed in books, TV and film) are full of humor, drama, and “the firsts”. The first dance, the first kiss, the first encounter with a nemesis, the first dream for the future, and so much more. These are all the elements that make up a good story and the process of writing so much fun.

  3. Most of all, I wanted to write a YA series that my munchkins would enjoy and I would feel good about them reading. Clean and wholesome YA books are sorely lacking, so I hope this series helps fill that void.If you love all things YA like I do,

I’d be thrilled to have you join my launch team for How to Kiss a Guy in Ten Days! If YA is not usually your thing, but you enjoyed the Spark brothers and want to catch up on how they’re doing, I’d love for you to give this book a try! Both Brandon and Bria Spark make appearances in this story.

If you are interested, you can send her an e-mail at liwen.ho@gmail.com. Let her know you heard about this opportunity from Phyllis at Among the Reads.

Here are the details of the book:

YA Readers Wanted – Review Opportunity

How to Kiss a Guy in Ten Days

by Liwen Y. Ho

Publication Date January 16, 2020
Genres: Young Adult, Clean Romance
Setting: California Contemporary
Main Character Ages: 15-18
Written for: High-School/Young Adult, Middle School

Spoiler alert: It was supposed to be a pretend relationship, so why are they getting all the feels?

When my dad went to jail, my world flipped upside down. Even my boyfriend wanted to take a break. But I've got a brilliant plan to show him what he’s been missing since he broke my heart.

Enter the cute new guy—Seth Spark.

When Hannah Mitchell, a girl completely out of my league, asks me to be her fake boyfriend on my first day at Edenvale, I almost lose it. A shy and awkward guy like me would never get any girl’s attention— especially a pretty one.

Never say never.

Now, I only have ten days to convince her to forget about her ex… and to give us a real chance.

The Edenvale Arts High School series brings you the sweetness and innocence of young love amidst a backdrop of the performing arts. Combining creativity and romance, this clean and wholesome YA series is perfect for fans of High School Musical and Zombies.

I would like to thank for giving me a copy of this book. This gift did not influence my opinion or review.
