I don’t know how Dana Mentink does it! She has such a gift for writing, combining riveting danger and romance with characters who come to life in her stories. Yukon Justice is no exception!

I loved the setting of the reindeer farm and learning a bit about these magnificent creatures! I also fell a little in love with Ella, the Newfie who couldn’t keep from playing in any water she came across. And I may just have looked up that fascinating dog breed to learn more about them as well. Wow!

Katie and Braydon’s relationship was realistic as they progressed from being offended by one another to falling in love. It was interesting seeing them get past their preconceived notions of why the other had acted as they did.

The suspense related to Katie’s uncle, who was trying to kill her and her aunt, was just the right level of intensity. If you enjoy romantic suspense, be sure to read Yukon Justice.
